SFFRN London Dry gin review door In to Gin

We kregen het fijne bezoek van Glenn Van de Poel (laureaat Belgian Food Blog Awards bij ‘In to Gin’) en dit was zijn Instagram post:

@Regranned from @in_to_gin – Last saturday i was invited in Morkhoven, Belgium by Belgische Saffraan (Belgian Saffron) @belgischesaffraan ????

And i was overwhelmed with how open and warm Linda & Marc where! ?
They showed me their fields filled with the Crocus Sativus or Saffron Crocus…
Beautifull little purple flower as displayed in the pictures! ?
They have the HIB logo as well (Handmade In Belgium) and where rewarded in 2016 with the “Belgian Beauty” award for best Belgian Souvenir! ????

And they also have a gin…Not a regular one but the first London Dry Gin with Saffron made by @vibedistillers … ??????
All the others are “Infused” with Saffron! (Look at the yellow color, this one is transparent) ?
A lovely classic nose with pine and some citrus, a little Jamaican pepper and some Cinnamon in the end!
And then comes the Saffron to bind it all! ???

I want to thank Linda & Marc for a wonderful day full of great and interesting stories! ?

Cheers,
Glenn – In_To_Gin
